John Chapman - Director
John worked in the corporate sector in Auckland for 4 years before continuing work for 3 years overseas. On his return to NZ he moved into a CA firm and became a partner in Bavage Chapman in 1992. He has owned a dairy farm and currently has a small beef block. He has a client base in farming, commercial property and small business enterprises. John has had extensive experience in structuring family businesses into the correct entities for wealth protection and tax minimisation. john@bck.co.nz
Darren Knight - Director
Darren has worked for CA firms at both intermediate and senior level from 1992 and acquired full CA status in 1998. He has also owned two separate retail businesses from 1994 to 1999, so therefore has a good background in both running businesses and dealing with all of the issues such as managing cash flows, budgets and staff. Darren has had three years UK experience plus some experience in the area of insolvency accounting. His initial training was for four years in the IRD from 1986-1990. darren@bck.co.nz
Ron Bavage - Consultant
With more than 30 years Chartered Accountancy experience Ron is based at Warkworth. During his time with the practice Ron has built up considerable expertise in taxation matters, particularly dairy and cattle farming, commercial and retail business, property and investments. Ron has a depth of skill and practical knowledge in traditional aspects of accounting and works with his clients to expand and grow their businesses. As a Warkworth born and bred person Ron enjoys spending time with family and friends, and in turn this helps keep him focused and keen to continue helping his clients in both their business and personal life. ron@bck.co.nz

Leanne Stenbeck - Practice Manager
Leanne started with the firm in 1996 as an Accountant and therefore is a familiar face to many clientele. Leanne has now taken on the role of Practice Manager and is enjoying working with both the staff and clients of the practice. Hilary Ladden - Accounting Manager
Hilary has had many years CA experience and was previously running a successful practice in Orewa. Her skills range from preparing financial accounts, onsite MYOB training, taxation advice and forecasting. Hilary has a depth of knowledge and experience and is a key staff member. hilary@bck.co.nz
Thalia Englehardt - Accounting Manager
Thalia has also had many years in CA practices. She has held senior positions in large CA practices in Auckland and helped a sole practioner with a business start up.
